Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry or a Ph.D. in a relevant field.

Experience Required:

• 15+ years in the chemical industry, specifically in R&D and product innovation.
• At least 10 years of experience in performance chemicals & surfactants development.
• Proven track record of managing and leading a team of 10+ researchers.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Head of R&D to lead our Research & Development team in the performance chemicals sector. This role involves spearheading product innovation, managing research initiatives, and driving commercialization strategies. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical acumen, leadership abilities, and a hands-on approach to R&D execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Product & Technology Development:

• Drive innovation and oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
• Ensure new product designs meet client requirements and international standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition from lab to commercial production.

Project & Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing R&D team.
• Allocate resources efficiently and optimize research efforts to drive business goals.
• Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific rigor within the team.

Regulatory & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all experiments and processes comply with safety regulations and EHS standards.
• Manage and maintain laboratory instruments, calibration, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Implement protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and high-pressure lab operations.

Data Management & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, formulations, and results.
• Ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
